What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed. Written to be read in five minutes.
1. Who we are
SoloDash is run by Sani Ayere, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. SoloDash finds businesses that publicly need a service and passes them to agencies and service businesses that offer it.
For data protection law, Sani Ayere is the "controller": the person responsible for your information. Contact: support@solodash.co.
2. If we found your business
If you received a message from one of our clients, or you think your business appears in our records, this section is for you.
Where the information comes from
- Official public registers of new and existing companies, such as Companies House (UK), SIRENE and BODACC (France) and BORME (Spain).
- Public procurement notices, such as Contracts Finder, Find a Tender, BOAMP, TED and SAM.gov.
- Public job adverts.
- Public posts where a business asks for help or recommendations, on forums and social media. On LinkedIn and Facebook, a person reads public posts by hand. On Instagram, we only use Meta's official tools for public posts.
We never use private messages, private groups, or anything behind a login that the public cannot see.
What we record
- Business name, location and type of business
- What the business asked for, as written publicly, with a link to the original post or notice and the date
- Business contact details that the business itself published, such as a business email, phone number or website
- The name and job title of the person who posted, where they posted publicly on behalf of the business
Why, and on what legal basis
We use this information to pass a relevant business opportunity to one client who offers the service that was asked for, in that area. Our legal basis is legitimate interests: the business asked publicly for help, or is new and likely to need services, and our client can offer exactly that. We have weighed this against your interests, and we limit what we collect and how long we keep it to protect them.
Want us to stop? Email support@solodash.co with your business name or email address. We delete your details within 30 days and add you to our do-not-contact list, so no client receives them again. You don't need to give a reason.
How you'll know
Our client terms require every client's first message to say they found you through SoloDash and to link to this page. Clients must also follow email rules: in the UK, they need your consent before sending sales emails to a sole trader or partnership, and every message must offer an easy way to opt out.
You can ask us for a summary of our legitimate interests assessment.
How decisions are made
Software reads public posts and scores how well each one matches a client. A person then checks every lead before it is sent. Nothing about you is decided automatically in a way that has legal or similarly serious effects.
3. If you book a demo or use SoloDash
| What we collect | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, work email, business name, and your answers when booking a demo | To run the demo and prepare a search for your market | Steps before a contract, at your request |
| Your targets: services, areas, ideal clients | To find and match leads for you | Contract |
| How you mark leads (contacted, replied, booked, not a fit) and your reviews | To show your results and improve your future leads | Contract, and legitimate interests in improving the service |
| Billing details, handled by our payment provider | To take payment | Contract, and legal obligation to keep accounts |
| Emails between us | To support you | Contract and legitimate interests |
We never sell your information or use it to advertise other companies' products.
Your responsibility with leads: once you receive a lead, you are responsible for how you use it, as a separate controller. Our client terms set the rules: say where you found them, follow email rules, and tell us within 5 working days if a lead asks you to stop.
4. Who we share it with
- One client per lead, as explained in section 2. That client then becomes responsible for the details it receives and must follow our client terms.
- Service providers that help us run SoloDash and may only use the information to do so: Cal.com (demo booking), Google (calendar and video calls), Porkbun (domain and email), Anthropic (AI used to read public posts), and, once live, our database, hosting and payment providers (such as Supabase and Stripe).
- Authorities, only if the law requires it.
Some of these providers are based in the United States or other countries outside the UK. When information goes abroad, we rely on the legal safeguards the UK recognises, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK's approved data transfer contracts.
5. How long we keep it
- Leads not sent to any client: deleted within 30 days of being found.
- Leads sent to a client: kept in that client's record while their account is open, for up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Do-not-contact list: kept for as long as we operate, holding only what we need to recognise you (such as a business name or email), so we can keep respecting your request.
- Demo bookings from people who don't become clients: deleted after 6 months.
- Client accounts: deleted within 90 days of an account closing, except invoices and payment records, which UK law requires us to keep for 6 years.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you what we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete it
- stop using it, including at any time for any form of marketing
- pause its use while a complaint is checked
- give you a copy in a usable format
Email support@solodash.co. It's free, and we reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm who you are first.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first.

- SoloDash is a service for businesses. It is not meant for children.
8. Changes and contact
