Client terms
The agreement between SoloDash and businesses that use it. Plain English, but legally binding.
1. About these terms
SoloDash is run by Sani Ayere, a sole trader in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). These terms apply to any business that books a trial, pays for SoloDash or uses its dashboard ("you").
You accept these terms, and confirm you have read our privacy policy, when you tick the box agreeing to them before booking a demo or starting a trial. Please read both before ticking. SoloDash is for businesses only: by accepting, you confirm you are acting for your business, not as a consumer.
2. What you get
- Leads: businesses that publicly need what you sell, in the areas and markets you choose. Your plan sets how many you can receive each week (SoloDash Growth: up to 10).
- For each lead: where it came from, why it fits, the public contact route, and a draft first message.
- One client per lead: we send each lead to one client per service in each area.
- Your record: a dashboard where you mark what happened with each lead.
No guaranteed results. A lead is an opportunity, not a client. We check every lead before sending it, but we can't promise how many you'll receive in a given week, or that any will reply or buy. Public posts can be seen by others, so speed matters.
We may change our sources and methods to keep improving quality, as long as the service you pay for stays substantially the same.
3. Trial and payment
- Free trial: 3 days. If you don't cancel before it ends, your chosen plan starts.
- Prices: £129 a month, or £588 a year (the yearly plan). Prices are those shown on solodash.co when you sign up.
- Billing: in advance, through our payment provider, on the same date each month or year.
- VAT: we are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added. If that changes, we'll tell you first.
- Failed payments: we'll email you. If payment still fails after 7 days, we may pause your leads until it's paid.
- Price changes: at least 30 days' notice by email. Yearly plans keep their price until renewal.
4. Cancelling and refunds
| Plan | Full refund if you ask within | After that |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | 3 days of your first monthly payment | No refund. Cancel any time to stop the next payment; you keep access until the end of the month you paid for. |
| Yearly | 14 days of your yearly payment | No refund. Cancel any time to stop the renewal; you keep access until the end of the year you paid for. |
- How: email support@solodash.co from your account email. A refund also ends your subscription, so nothing renews.
- Our fault: if we fail to deliver the service for reasons within our control, we'll refund the affected period, whatever the date.
5. Contacting leads: your rules
This section protects the people we find, and it protects both of us. Breaking it is a serious breach of these terms.
Your first message must say where you found them
Every first message to a lead must say that you found them through SoloDash and link to our privacy page. For example:
"I came across your public post through SoloDash (solodash.co/privacy)."
Why this line is required: the law says that when a business uses someone's details it didn't get from them directly, that person must be told where their details came from and how to object (UK GDPR, Article 14). The line does this for both of us in one sentence. Without it, we could not legally pass you leads. Every draft message in your dashboard already includes it, so keep it when you edit.
Follow the email and messaging rules
- UK, limited companies and LLPs: you may send one relevant business email without prior consent, if you say who you are and give an easy way to opt out.
- UK, sole traders and partnerships: you must have their consent before sending a sales email or text. Reply where they posted, call, or use another permitted route instead.
- Other countries: follow the local rules for the lead's country. We flag the main ones for each market, but you remain responsible.
Use leads only for this
- Make personal, relevant contact about what the lead asked for or is likely to need.
- Don't add leads to mailing lists, send them bulk messages, or contact them again after they say no.
- Don't sell, share or pass leads to anyone outside your business.
- Don't use bots or automation to message leads on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram or other platforms.
- Never use leads for anything unlawful, misleading, discriminatory or harassing.
Tell us when someone says stop
If a lead asks not to be contacted, or asks where you got their details, tell us at support@solodash.co within 5 working days. We'll add them to our do-not-contact list.
6. Data protection
- Once you receive a lead, you are responsible for that information as a separate "controller" under UK GDPR (and EU GDPR for EU leads). You must have a lawful reason for your contact and keep the information secure.
- Delete leads you don't pursue within 12 months, and all leads within 30 days of your account ending, unless they've become your customer.
- We collect leads only from public sources, as described in our privacy page, which also explains how we handle your own information.
7. Your account
- Keep your login details safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- One account is for one business. Your staff may use it; people outside your business may not.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account.
8. What belongs to whom
- SoloDash, its dashboard, scoring and methods belong to us.
- You may use lead details, draft messages and your record for your own business, as these terms allow.
- If you leave a review, we may show it with your business name on our website, with your permission.
9. Responsibility and limits
- What we never exclude: liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
- What we're not liable for: lost profits, lost sales, lost business or opportunity, or any indirect loss.
- Our maximum liability: the total you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
- Your responsibility: if someone makes a claim against us because you broke section 5 or 6, you cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim.
- Public information: leads are based on information others published. We check it, but we can't guarantee it's accurate or up to date.
10. Ending the agreement
- You can end it by cancelling, as in section 4.
- We can end it with 30 days' notice and refund any unused prepaid period.
- We can suspend or end it straight away if you seriously break these terms, especially section 5, or don't pay.
- Sections 5, 6, 9 and 11 still apply after the agreement ends.
11. General
- Changes: we'll give 30 days' notice by email of any change that matters. Continuing to use SoloDash after that means you accept it.
- Whole agreement: these terms and the plan you chose are the whole agreement between us.
- Transfer: you may not transfer this agreement without our consent. We may transfer it if the SoloDash business moves to a company or new owner, and we'll tell you.
- Notices: by email, to support@solodash.co for us and to your account email for you.
- Law: the law of England and Wales applies, and its courts decide disputes. We'll always try to resolve things by email first.
